This policy explains what personal data vishalwealthview.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as the services need to work. It covers the website and the Strategy Lab Android app, which shows this same website inside an app and collects nothing beyond what the website does.
When you create an account: your email address, and your phone number if you give one. Your password is never stored — we keep only a salted PBKDF2-SHA256 hash of it, which cannot be reversed back into your password.
When you subscribe: a Razorpay customer ID and subscription ID, the plan, its status and the dates. Card, UPI and bank details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
When you download a free report: the email address or phone number you enter on the form, so the download link can be issued, and so we can send you occasional product updates.
When you save a strategy: the strategy settings and results you chose to save, the description you write for it, and whether it is in the leaderboard, stored against your account.
If you have a Research Analyst account: the name you are registered under with SEBI, your company and your SEBI RA number.
When you import a portfolio: your Consolidated Account Statement is opened and read entirely inside your own browser. The PDF is never uploaded to us and neither is the password you use to open it. What we do store, against your account, is the resulting list of holdings: the security or scheme, its ISIN, the units held and the value. We deliberately discard the rest of the statement — your name, PAN, address, contact details, demat account numbers and folio numbers are not sent to us and are not stored. With Premium, the review of that portfolio (how each holding does under timing rules) is worked out on our servers and stored with it. You can delete an imported portfolio, and its review, at any time from the Strategy Lab.
Your PIN: the four digits that open the app and your portfolio are stored only as a one-way hash, the same way as your password, so we cannot read them. If you forget your PIN, we email you a code to choose a new one.
Usage analytics: counts of which features are used — for example that a page was viewed or a backtest was run — along with whether the device was mobile or desktop and the country the request came from. These are aggregate counters. They are not tied to your account or to any identifier for you, and they cannot be traced back to an individual visitor.
Strategies you save in the Strategy Lab enter a public leaderboard by default, where they are ranked against other entries each morning. On premium you can keep a strategy out when you save it, or withdraw it later. Anyone can delete a strategy at any time.
What other people see: an entered strategy's asset, rule and settings, the description you write for it (if any), and its backtested results and rank. For a personal account, the strategy shows only your alias, such as "Steady Falcon 42". The alias is picked at random for your account, is not based on your name or email, and cannot be changed. Your name, email, phone number and the name you typed for the strategy are not shown.
Research Analyst accounts: entered strategies show the analyst's name as registered with SEBI, their company and their SEBI RA number, because the analyst asked to publish under their registration.
Changing your mind: a strategy you withdraw or delete stops being shown to others at once. If your premium ends, strategies you kept out stay out.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we do not run third-party ad or analytics scripts that profile you across sites, and we do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone for marketing. The site stores a login token and your tool preferences in your browser's local storage; that data stays on your device.
To give you access to your account and subscription, to process payments, to deliver reports you asked for, to answer your support messages, to keep the service secure, and to understand in aggregate which features are worth building on.
We also send occasional emails about what is new on the site to account holders and people who downloaded a free report. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them for good. Emails about your account, such as a password reset, are not affected.
Market data providers supply prices to the site. No personal data about you is sent to them.
Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting rules require. Aggregate usage analytics are kept for 90 days. Report leads are kept until you ask us to remove them.
The site is served over HTTPS. We never save your password, and payment credentials never touch our systems. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not reuse elsewhere.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. You can delete your account yourself from the Privacy tab of your account page, on the website or in the app, or email vishalvealthview@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription and removes your login, saved strategies, any imported portfolio and subscription link. Billing records we are legally required to keep stay with Razorpay or PayPal.
The services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
